boss, by nature blogs are public. the blogosphere is the modern version of habermas' public sphere. everything you say will be open to scrutiny.
plus, with universal access, blogs turn into a virtual Panopticon because anyone can see what you're saying and thinking. and with the power of the almighty Google, everything you say is cached forever in their databanks...
anyway, this is the way blogs work. we just need to deal with it. the mature ones can. the immature ones blog as 'Anonymous' and get upset.
just like everything in life, people learn to move on. we can talk about it till the cows come home and those for it will still be for it and those against it will still be against it. we never make friends through arguments.
Dave: I miss those terms... hahaha panopticon... whao!!! Public Sphere!! I need a refresher course man... hahaha...
Chief: Sometimes, for the sake of belief, we do need to stand up for what we put our faith in. When someone defames your father's house, you'll get really mad too.
People must realise that Christians are not just about 'loving, peaceful, softies' that will give in to anything that society throws at them. However, we must also not go around looking for wars, lest people look at us with hate.
You miss him? DUDE! I guess you miss that kinda character and arguement. Interesting fella he is, but stubborn as well. Ah well. It was good while it lasted.
Maybe things will change. Anything is possible under God. Who knows? Maybe one day he will come to know Him. We'll see.
